1913: Verzinkerei Zug Ltd is born

Beginning life as a galvanizing plant, the family business worked on tinware for the home, farm and construction industry.

1976: The metalworks of Zug merge

Metallwarenfabrik Zug and Verzinkerei Zug combine to create V-ZUG, a maker of kitchen and laundry appliances.

2008: Exporting the Swissness

Initial success in Europe and Australia in 2008 is followed in 2015 by Asian expansion into Shanghai, Hong Kong in 2016, and by 2019, Singapore.

2014: The Tech Cluster concept is imagined

Following a comprehensive study, the plan for the Technology and Innovation Centre Tech Cluster Zug is revealed, becoming a blueprint for the future of Swiss engineering and manufacturing.

A key building of the new manufacturing concept, this factory of the future has enabled ever-more sustainable production.

2022: New cooling factory in Sulgen

In 2013, the founding of V-ZUG Kühltechnik AG was an important milestone for guaranteeing V-ZUG would be able to serve its customers with state-of-the-art cooling appliances. A brand new facility opened in 2022.
